Health is an intrinsic human right hence the relationship between healthcare and finance is a sensitive subject. However, as healthcare costs increase healthcare financing has been addressed because it is also a central input to poverty reduction and the socioeconomic development of a country. The main problem in many countries is containing the healthcare cost. As Malaysia's health services cost is currently being borne by the government.
