RAZIF ABAS, born in Kuala Lumpur, currently holds the position of a senior medical lecturer at the Department of Human Anatomy, Universiti Putra Malaysia. He obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree in 2004 and a master’s degree in Medical Sciences (Anatomy) in 2014 from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He successfully completed his PhD in Cardiovascular Sciences in 2018 at the University of Leicester, United Kingdom, and later pursued post-doctoral training in cardiovascular neuroanatomy at Leiden University Medical Centre in the Netherlands in 2022. He has authored publications on various topics within cardiovascular sciences and anatomy, encompassing gross anatomy, neuroanatomy, embryology, and anatomy education. Furthermore, Razif Abas currently serves as an associate editor for the Malaysian Journal of Medical and Health Sciences (MJMHS) at UPM.
