Replications and replicability are becoming an increasingly important part of the modern view of responsible science. Most notably, responsible research is about being relevant and reliable, and ideally such research efforts should be applicable to a diversity setting. Robert Faff, PhD holds the Tun Ismail Mohamed Ali Distinguished Chair in Finance and Investment at the Faculty of Economics and Management, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2019-2020. His research focuses on asset pricing, corporate finance and capital markets. Building on a 38-year academic career, his latest focus is "Pitching Research".

Now, it is gaining great traction domestically and worldwide as exemplified by more than 13,600 SSRN downloads, more than 300 pitching events spanning at 52 different universities and countries. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of Pacific-Basin Finance Journal; formerly: Editor of Accounting and Finance and Associate Editor of several journals including Abacus and Australian Journal of Management.
